How much will Euro 2024 tickets cost

Travel2024-07-16 19:10:07France32

The countdown to the highly anticipated UEFA Euro 2024 has begun, and with it, the excitement and curiosity surrounding the cost of tickets for this prestigious football tournament. As the official ticket prices have been announced, fans worldwide are eager to know how much they will need to shell out to be a part of this momentous event.

UEFA, the European Football Association, has revealed that over 80% of the total 2.7 million tickets will be sold publicly, with a price range spanning from 30 euros to a staggering 2000 euros. This vast range caters to a wide spectrum of fans, ensuring that the Euro 2024 experience is accessible to all.

For the opening match, tickets are priced at 50 euros for the lowest category, with the prices increasing incrementally to 900 euros for the most premium seats. The group stage fixtures follow a similar pricing structure, starting from 30 euros and going up to 400 euros for the most sought-after seats.

As the tournament progresses, the ticket prices also rise, reflecting the increasing importance and excitement of each match. The quarter-finals, for instance, have a starting price of 60 euros, while the semi-finals and the final have a base price of 80 euros and 95 euros respectively.  for those seeking the ultimate experience, the top-tier tickets for the final can cost up to 2000 euros.

It's worth noting that UEFA has also introduced a significant number of tickets priced below 60 euros, especially for the later stages of the tournament. This initiative aims to make the Euro 2024 more inclusive and accessible to a wider fan base.  there will be 10,000 tickets for the final priced below 100 euros, giving fans an even greater chance to witness the climax of the tournament.

The ticket sales process will be conducted in multiple phases. The first phase will begin in October 2023, with 1.2 million tickets up for grabs. Fans can apply for up to four tickets per match, but they can only apply for tickets for one match per day. The allocation of tickets will be done through a lottery system, ensuring fairness and transparency.

For those who miss out on tickets in the initial phases, there will be further opportunities in the subsequent phases. UEFA has allocated approximately 1 million tickets for the fans of the 21 qualified teams, which will be made available after the final tournament draw.  there will be a final phase of ticket sales once all the participating teams are known.

UEFA has also introduced a 'Fans First' program, where unsuccessful applicants in the initial phases will be given priority in the subsequent sales. This ensures that loyal fans who missed out initially still have a chance to secure their seats.

the ticket prices for Euro 2024 range from 30 euros to 2000 euros, catering to a diverse fan base. With various pricing options and sales phases, UEFA has ensured that the tournament remains accessible and exciting for all. As the countdown continues, fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting their chance to be a part of this historical event.
